DewiBack invests in projects and concepts that enable environmentally friendly and low CO2 entrepreneurial activity. These include:
- Raw materials from the region
- Apples from the "Old Country"
- Flour from Brandenburg
- Development and expansion of the plant under strict environmental regulations

This is how it all began
1996
Michael Decius and Wolfgang Winter found DewiBack in Berlin.
2001
The trading company is expanded to include its own production facility for baked goods. The success story enters the next round with the production of bread, rolls, baguettes, as well as croissants and Danish pastries.
2005
Our nationwide expansion begins with the founding of the first branch in Hamburg. More branches and logistics centres follow.
2013
Andreas Stegen joins the company as the third managing director and partner. At the same time, the company continues to invest in modern production infrastructure.
2017
The company continues to grow with a new building that provides storage space for 10,000 pallets and boasts high-tech production facilities.
2019
Our sales manager of many years, Tino Leder, is promoted to managing director.
2022
Our managing director Tino Leder joins the company as a shareholder. Going forward, the company will be managed by Michael Decius and Tino Leder.
2023
Our new website goes live. It includes our new online shop for a more convenient purchasing process.
